A technical problem on-board a British Airways Boeing 747 meant that Prince William and his wife Kate were unable to enjoy any in-flight films on their trip back to the UK from the US. The couple were flying in the first-class cabin from Los Angeles when they were told the entertainment system was down. According to a source, the royals and their fellow passengers were a little irritated by the situation, but also good-humoured.

A fellow traveller said the pair made themselves comfortable by changing into the flight pyjamas offered by the airline and also struck up conversations with other passengers. A spokesperson for British Airways said the technical glitch was regrettable, apologised to all those affected and confirmed that passengers on the flight would be receiving a voucher worth… Read the full story

Ben Collins has been sacked by Top Gear, after revealing that he was the actor who has played the white-garbed Stig during the past seven years on the popular driving show. The BBC had failed to win an injunction against Mr Collins which would have prevented him from taking off his mask for the general public, and according to star of the show Jeremy Clarkson, the unmasking is an incredible betrayal to him and the others who work on the show.
